Holly + Kris 4.14.12

Holly & Kris' wedding was by far one of the most romantic weddings that just oozed sweet southern charm and true love!  Premier had so much fun working with Holly as she meticulously picked out each of her linens, napkins, accent tables, that amazing credenza, and even the mini chandeliers that hung over the Head Table.  Her tender loving care truly shown through on the wedding day!
In an attempt not to overwhelm her Groom with "too much pink", Holly did an amazing job of incorporating one of her favorite color combinations - pink and gold.  The linens for the guest tables were a unique and delicate blend of pale gold and burlap (a combination currently found at CE Rentals).  Their stunning head table was drapped in a pale pink rosette linen.  Now the cake table on the other hand had a knockout light pink sparkle linen that made the cake pop!  Simply stunning!
The ceremony was held at All Saints Chapel in downtown Raleigh.  The history alone makes this chapel a perfect setting for any ceremony!  Plus the original hardwood floors and stained glass isn't too bad either! ;)  Fresh Affairs did an amazing job jazzing up the alter and providing beautiful bouquets for the Bride and her maids.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, guests were treated to a trolley ride from All Saints over to the reception venue, The Stockroom at 230.  How fun!  Upon arrival, guests were greeted with yummy nibbles and cold libations while they waited for the Bride & Groom's arrival.
A great big "THANK YOU" to Courtney Aliah Photography for sharing her amazing photos of Holly & Kris' amazing day.

Absolutely love this Memorial Table!!!

Holly used an electic mix of old vintage pins to secure guest place cards onto a cork board covered in burlap.

How freaking amazing is this Head Table??!

Holly & Kris - Thank you so much for allowing Premier to be a part of your very special day!  It was truly an amazing celebration of your love for one another.  We wish you many years of newlywed bliss!

Cassidy + Derrick 4.21.12

What's more fun that the State Fair?!  Popcorn, candy apples, funnel cakes, fried Twinkies... the list is endless.  And this is exactly what Cassidy and Derrick where thinking of when they started planning their wedding!  Both of their families LOVE the fair!  They look forward to it every year, so naturally the happy couple wanted to try encorporating their mutual love affair into their special day.
Cassidy did an amazing job of mixing purples, viberant fucshias, oranges, and yellows into her color palette.  At first, one might think "that's way too much color!"  However, the end result was pure genius!  The color combination popped, not only in the floral arrangements, but also and made the blank canvas that is St. Thomas explode with personality!  If you're trying to find a fun, outside-the-box color palette for your wedding, I highly recommend experimenting with these!  :)
The ceremony was held at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington.  The location was right by Bradley Creek and could not have been a prettier location for an outdoor wedding.  We even had a fallen tree limb (this thing was HUGE) provide perfect coverage so that the Groom wouldn't be able to see the Bride until just the right moment....
Following the ceremony, guests made their way over to St. Thomas Preservation Hall for the afternoon reception.  Guests were greeted with mini corn dogs, pop corn and home-made Sangria (Yum!).
Special thanks to Rebecca Mill of The Indie Image Photography for sharing these fab shots!

The Groom's Best Man and Grandfather used to grow dahlia's, so these special flowers were everywhere!

Cassidy's invitation set the stage for their carnival themed celebration!

Orange and fuchsia is my new favorite color combos!
how fun is this wedding cake?!
after the cake was cut, guests were treated to fresh cotton candy.  Wouldn't be a carnival wedding without the cotton candy?!
Candy apples with personalized tattoos topped off Cassidy & Derrick's carnival wedding perfectly!
Cassidy and Derrick - thank you SO much for giving Premier the opportunity to be a part of your very special and FUN wedding!!  We wish you all the best in life and many many years of visits to the NC State Fair!  ;-)

Melissa + Mark 4.14.12

As I start this blog, I can't help but remember my first meeting with Melissa, her mother, and her adorable little sister Sydney.  I am always amazed at how fast time fly's and this is just another example of a year that was over before I knew it.  The meeting with Melissa and her family couldn't have been more perfect.  I left Panera excited and ready to start planning Melissa & Mark's big day!
The ceremony was  held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.  This place is amazing and as far as churches go, it is totally outside the "church box".
Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed with live music, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at the Cardinal Club, in downtown Raleigh.  If you're not familiar with the Cardinal Club, it is located on the 29th floor of the PNC Building.  Naturally, you are surrounded by stunning views of Raleigh.
A HUGE "Thank you" to Diane McKinney Photography for capturing the day perfectly and for sharing your beautiful pictures!

Melissa's wedding colors were so chic and sophisticated!  She incorporated ivorys, corals, champagnes, and light golds into her color pallete.  The English Garden of Raleigh did a phenomenal job pulling all the colors together for some stunning bouquets and arragements .
English Garden always pulls together ah-mazing arragements!

Melissa had one of the prettiest veils I've ever seen!!
I <3 this!!
It's official!!  :)

Melissa & Mark, you guys were amazing and your entire wedding day was beautiful!!  Thank you so much for allowing Premier to be a part of your very special day.  We wish you many many years of happiness together!  ¡Felicitaciones!
