Sarah and Justin 9.29

Sarah and Justin were married on September 29th at the Mordecai Park. It was a beautiful ceremony despite some of the days hiccups. Originally the ceremony was supposed to be held outside but the weather was so horrible that day, Sarah and Justin decided to move it indoors into the Mordecai Park’s chapel. They were so great about having the ceremony indoors! They were such an amazing couple and took everything in stride! Sarah wore custom heels with the words “I Do” inscribed on the soles and Arioso Strings played beautifully throughout the whole ceremony.

After the ceremony, the wedding party and guests headed to the Nature Resource Center at the Natural Science Museum for the reception. It was such a gorgeous reception. They decorated in purple, blue, white, and black. It was absolutely stunning! Cafe Luna was the caterer. The reception was an absolute blast! The groom hilariously removed the bride’s colorful garter with his teeth and they danced the night away. 

They ended their perfect night with a sparkler exit, granting their guests one last kiss before they left.

Rebecca & Davis 11.10.12

Rebecca and Davis was married on November 10th in Raleigh NC. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Jones Chapel on Meredith’s campus. It was such a precious site to see! The bride was so excited about seeing her nephew carrying the customized “Here comes Aunt Becky" sign! It was a special touch that helped make the moment the lucky couple said “I do” all the more intimate and special. 

After the gorgeous ceremony, the wedding party headed to the reception at the Raleigh Convention center. The convention center is down right BEAUTIFUL! They have dazzling ballrooms and some pretty cool locations for photography. Gene Raffel of Gene’s Mobile DJ Service announced the arrival of the bride and groom to the wedding reception. He played a wonderful soundtrack to their reception, keeping the love and excitement alive with music. Mel Day of the award winning Dogwood Tree Floral Designs decorated every table at the reception with a beautiful floral center piece. They also designed the bride's stunning bouquet of red roses! The wedding cake was made by Connie from Day D’ Amour Custom Cakes. It was beautiful! Jewels lined each layer and the top was decorated in a sphere of bright red roses. One of my favorite parts of this wedding was all the personal details and touches that they incorporated into their wedding. Both Rebecca and Davis love chocolate, so that had custom labels made for their Hershey's candy bar wedding favors. Needless to say, there weren't too many favors left at the end of the night! The whole night was amazing!

After a night of dancing, Rebecca and Davis exited the party in a sea of sparklers! We just wanted to say thank you to A.J. Dunlap from A.J. Dunlap Photographies. We absolutely LOVE working with A.J. and her husband! They are such a fun, cute couple. This is the second wedding I’ve been lucky enough to work with them. The other wedding I did with them was Jennifer & Brad’s wedding. 

Thank you Rebecca and Davis for letting us be apart of one of your special days! We are so glad you chose us to help you start your happily ever after! 

Emily and Brian 11.17.12

 Emily and Brian were married at Cafe Luna on November 17th. The ceremony was so beautiful! The bride was dressed in a perfectly chosen dress with a custom made lace bolero jacket with a satin sash. The cafe was packed with family and friends in this intimate wedding as she walked down the aisle to the music performed by Elegant Ensembles. It was a perfect moment! You could feel the intimacy and love of the couple spread through the audience. This is going to be a couple that will live happily ever after!

The reception was just as lovely! The details are my favorite parts of a wedding. They really speak tales about the couple and how long they planned for this special day. Emily's dress was hung on a custom made hanger, that told of the journey that Emily and Brian were about to partake. Little details like that were placed throughout the ceremony. My favorite was the Mr. and Mrs. etched into the silverware used by the bride and groom during the reception! Cafe Luna was decorated in beautiful flowers that lined the tables. Fresh Affairs personally decorated each bouquet and they were absolutely beautiful! They also built and designed the back drop for the ceremony. The votive tea lights were wrapped in black lace providing great compliment to the bright flowers and the black and white linens on the tables. This black lace brings me to the wedding cake. It was crafted by Cinda's Creative Cakes. The cake was stunning! It was decorated as if it was lined with black lace and matched the details of the reception perfectly! The cake topper was custom made for the bride and groom by a designer on Etsy.
 

The soundtrack of the reception was played by the talented DJ Paul Fitts. A huge "Thank You!" goes out to Megan Kime with MK Photography for capturing Emily & Brian's special day! Megan did an amazing job! We can not wait to work with her again!  

Can you guess how the bride and groom ended the reception? They passed out bubbles and all of their loving guests blew bubbles outside Cafe Luna until Emily and Brian walked through. Sharing one last kiss in front of their family and friends before leaving to start there new life together!

Emily & Brian, thank you both so much for allowing Premier to be a part of your very special day! We wish you many years of newlywed bliss!

Laura + Adam 9.15.12

Laura and Adam hands down had the coolest wedding I have ever been a part of.  Laura was the Queen of DIY and her family/friends rallied with her and helped out wherever they could.  The day before the wedding, Laura, her mom, and grandmother were purchasing flowers from the local farmer's market.  They did an amazing job pulling together all the bouquets, boutonniers, corsages, and all the centerpieces!  I was totally blown away!  

Everything took place at Elodie Farms in Rougemont, NC.  One of the great parts about Elodie Farms is their "farm to table" catering philosophy.  Everything was locally sourced or came straight from Elodie Farms.  I got to try the farm's goat cheese and it was delicious!  If you are ever at the Durham Farmer's Market, look for Dave's booth and buy some of their cheese!  In addition to the tasty treats the farm provided, Laura and Adam had Smokey Dave's serve some of the tastiest pulled pork NC-style BBQ I have had.  Dave and his team did an amazing job setting up the buffet and serving some delicious southern comfort food.
