Amanda + Nate 3.24.12

Amanda and Nate's story begins a little differently than most of my other brides.  When Amanda reached out to Premier it was because she had already been burned by another "professional" planner and was desperate to get her wedding plans back on track.  After hearing what she had been through, there was no way I was letting this bride out of my sight!  In the name of Wedding Planners everywhere, I had to show her that there were good ones out there!  :)   So in less than one month, we high-tailed the plans into over drive and pulled together Amanda & Nate's dream wedding! 

The ceremony and reception took place at the Historic Mordecai Park in downtown Raleigh.  Erin and her staff were so helpful and wonderful to work with!  I can't wait to have another wedding at Mordecai. 

Since the other planner hadn't bothered to help Amanda plan a thing, she still needed a florist, cake, DJ, all her rentals, transportation, and an Officiant!  In case you're new to this, that's a LOT of vendors to pull together in less than a month!  Naturally, I reached out to all my favorite vendors and got the planning ball rolling!   

Our friends at North Raleigh Florist came through in less than a month's notice and pulled together the prettiest arragements!  Thanks y'all!

Leona Taylor of Frosted Bliss Cakes made the pretties cake for our Bride & Groom.  DeeJay's Event Rentals came through in a jiffy and got the bride ALL her rentals, including a huge tent!  The staff at Cook Shack provided the most delish pig pickin' and sides I've seen in a long time.  Yum!! 

Thanks again to everyone invloved.  It litterally was a team effort and couldn't have been done without each one of you!

the Chapel at Mordecai

Since the chapel was a bit small for the number of guests Amanda and Nate were expecting, they had the ceremony outside on the steps of the chapel.  Simply perfect!

 

to add to the casual, laid-back atmosphere, Amanda and Nate had cornhole boards and ladder ball setup for guests to play.
