Jenna + Wes 3.24.12

When I met Jenna I knew that her wedding was going to be special.  She had been so meticulous about each detail and was so excited about her big day, I just couldn't wait to get started!
Jenna worked with each vendor to incorporate her colors - black, white and hot pink into as much of the wedding as possible.  This color combination made for an amazing statement when her guests walked into the reception hall.  :)
...okay, I'm getting ahead of myself... First - the ceremony!  Jenna & Wes exchanged vows at the breathtaking Village Chapel Pinehurst.  This church has to be one of my top 10 favorite churches in the area.  The architecture and detail just oozes history and charm that you don't find in modern churches anymore.
All flowers were provided by Vickie Garner of The Flower Station in Sanford, NC.  They did an amazing job on the bouquet, boutonnieres and corsages!  Plus the centerpieces at the reception were stunning!  Vickie's team did a great job bringing Jenna's vision to life.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception at The Fair Barn.  This place is so cool!  The Fair Barn was built in 1917 and is the oldest surviving fair exhibition hall in North Carolina.  Don't worry ladies, it was recently renovated with all the "modern comforts" needed for an event.  :)  When guests arrived they were greeted with a nosh and the signature drink, the "Greene-tini".  The folks from Sweet Feed Catering did an amazing job handling the event!  Thank you to Rachel and her staff!
Jill Phillips from All the Right Grooves provided the uplighting which added a pop of color around the barn.  In addition, she had guests dancing the night away.
Fiona McKenzie of Sweet Fi's Cakes created a beautiful wedding cake with the coolest fondant roses!
A special thank you to Tim Sayer Photography for capturing Jenna & Wes' amazing wedding day!

We Italian's know it's not a wedding without a cookie table!!

Jenna pulled together the cutest Mad-Libs for her guests to fill out!

Goes without saying, these guests were having FUN!!

Jenna & Wes - Thank you sooo much for allowing Premier to be a part of your fabulous day!  We wish you the best of luck in this new chapter of life you are starting together!!

Nicole + Jimmy 5.20.12

For anyone who has been flowing our blog and/or me in general, knows that Jimmy and I (finally) tied the knot back in May.  The whole "Wedding Planner planning her own wedding" thing was very interesting.  For the most part, I was just like any other working bride --I did most of my (personal) planning at night/on the weekends when I wasn't attending to the needs of my clients (i.e. other brides!).  There were some minor (and a few major) bumps along the way, but now I fully know what it feels like to "walk the walk".  =)
The ceremony was held at Fairmont United Methodist Church.  Jimmy and I had been searching alllll over Raleigh and when we walked into Fairmont, we both immediately agreed that "this was the place!"  The church has the most beautiful set of stained glass windows.  Eight in all that depict the life of Jesus, from birth to the cross.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Renaissance at North Hills for the cocktail hour and the reception.  Thanks to my amazing vendors, the ballroom was BREATHTAKING!  I mean, really!  Patrick Cooke and his team from PC Productions outdid themselves with the purple uplighting!  I couldn't believe how amazing the room looked.  Also, the team at English Garden did an amazing job setting up hundreds (literally!) of floating candles and purple roses on the tables.  The combination of candlelight and uplighting blew my expectations out of the water!
Next was our cake.  Leona Taylor of Frosted Bliss Cakes created a cake that was just too pretty to cut!!  (we eventually did cut it, though!).  Everything was amazing!
I am sooo thankful that we hired our videographer!  It was something we weren't going to do, but my mom and (at the time, future) sister-in-law convinced us to reconsider.  Vincent Murphy and his team from Red Carpet Wedding Films did an amazing job covering our day.  They killed it!
Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Karen Clark for being my day-of planner!!!   There wasn't anyone else I would have trusted with our wedding day!  You are amazing!
Special thanks to our photographer, Cole Gorman of Blest Photography for capturing our special day. (warning!  lots of pictures ahead!  =) )

my "something borrowed" Grandpa Sam bought these in Italy for Grandma.  <3
"Bye!  See ya at the church!"

the new Mr & Mrs!
I still can't believe this was our ballroom!

YUM!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Conder  :)

some of our guests were "encouraging" him to smash cake in my face!  Luckly he knew better!  HA!

I cannot wait for the video - Jimmy danced for me before he took off the garter!

Normally, I end our postings thanking the couple for allowing us to be a part of their special day.  Since I can't really do that, I am thanking the vendors and my parents.  I know I've said it already, but I really could not have done this without their amazing help and talent.  My vendors were the force behind the magic.  Yes, I planned it, but without them it would not have gone off without a hitch.  From the bottom of my heart, thank y'all so much!!   <3

Tiffany + Rocky 5.5.12

Tiffany and Rocky were one of my "funnest" couples to work with.  From the very first meeting, I knew that I was going to enjoy working with them on all the creative elements and ideas they had for their big day.   Tiffany and Rocky met while attending ECU, so it really meant a lot to them to incorporate their beloved purple and yellow in the wedding decor.   However, Tiffany was adamant that she did not want the reception to look like a "pirate fest"!  Personally, I think Tiffany & Rocky did an amazing job blending wedding chic and Pirate spirit into their special day!
The ceremony and reception was held at the uber-cool Cobblestone Hall in downtown Raleigh.  Since Cobblestone is one big open space, we divided the ceremony space with ferns (thanks Princess Kate for the creative idea!) to help differentiate the ceremony and reception space.
Triangle Catering provided all the delicious nibbles and libations while guests mingled and chatted during the cocktail hour and reception.  Since Tiffany & Rocky's special day was held on Cinco de Mayo, guests were treated with a signature purple margarita!  Yum!
The English Garden pulled together the most amazing centerpieces!   Tiffany wanted to incorporate lanterns and moss in her centerpieces and the team at English Garden did a great job bringing Tiff's vision to life!
A special "Thank You!" to Kate Peters Photography for capturing all these magnificent details!  I know it wasn't easy working in the pouring down rain!!!

Billy Balls make great boutonnieres!

Since it was literally raining sheets of rain, outdoor pictures were out of the question.  As an alternative, I had arranged for Art Space to let us use their facility for some quick pre-ceremony pictures.   Thanks Art Space!

One of the coolest alters ever!  The English Garden suspended willow branches and lanterns from the ceiling and created an amazing backdrop for the ceremony!

We re-purposed the aisle lanterns, and scattered them around the room for additional decor.  I just <3 re-purposing stuff!  :)

Each centerpiece was a little different than the next.  I loved how English Garden incorporated different purple and yellow glass pieces into the mix!

Who doesn't love monkey tails?!  (a.k.a. Fiddlehead ferns.  Or if you're really interested, the technical name is Uluhe "you-ley-he" Ferns)  Whatever you call them, they are adorable!

Instead of favors, Tiffany and Rocky made donations to the Wake Count Animal Shelter in honor of their two puppy's, Titan and Riley.   Yes, those are their dog's actual paw-prints!

Tiffany & Rocky, Thank you so much for sharing your engagement and wedding day with Premier!  It was truly our pleasure working with you guys through every step of the process!!  Your wedding day was bitter sweet for me because I knew we wouldn't have the opportunity to chat like we had for the past 12 months!  I wish you both the best in this new chapter of life you are starting together!!
