Mallory + Jeremy 11.5.11

When I met Mallory way back last year for her consultation, I was sooo excited to be working with her!  She seemed like such a cool, down to earth, fun bride.  Little did I know her wedding would be one I would remember for a looong time to come!
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Clark Ave.  This church has a beautiful sanctuary!  After the bride & groom said their vows, the party got down at the NC Science Muscum's 2nd Floor.  Surrounded by the nature exhibits and a water fall, Mallory & Jeremy's friends and family partied the night away, until... well, we'll get to that soon enough!
Thank you to Tori Weishaar of Luxe Photography for sharing these beautiful shots!!!

The most amazing broach bouquet I have ever seen!!!  Mallory spent her entire engagement rummaging through flea markets and yard sales looking for the next broach to add to her bouquet

Mallory made all the bridesmaid bouquets!!  Love the baby's breath with the billy balls!
one of my favorite moments
It's official!!!
too cute!!!

Time for the party!!!

Mallory continued with her nature theme throughout the entire reception - encorporating wood slices, candles, baby's breath and wild flowers as her center pieces.

Seating Chart

Mallory found the amazing cake stand on Etsy.  I just love that website!!

NCSU played UNC that day and for the State fans, you'll notice this was the actual score of the game!  Thanks to Leona Taylor of Frosted Bliss Cakes, we were able to have the final score on the score board.  :)
Where them girls at?!

Not too long after the bouquet and garter toss, dancing was abruptly interrupted by a FIRE ALARM!!!  I could not believe it... conveniently Mallory and I were already outside getting some fresh air, when guests started spilling out of the museum.  Since I always have the coolest clients, Mallory and Jeremy took the interruption in stride and got some fun shots with the Raleigh Fire Department!

Mallory & Jeremy - your wedding was beautiful, fun and memorable in more ways than one!  Thank you for allowing Premier to be a part of your very special day!  We wish you many years of happiness and fire drills.  =)

Stephanie + Chuck 9.17.11

Stephanie and Chuck's wedding was so sweet and special right from the start.  They were so candid with how they met (on Match.com!), their admiring love story, and of course, the romantic way Chuck proposed to Stephanie (which easily could have come from a Nicholas Sparks novel).
All of Stephanie's wedding festivities took place at the Chef's Palette in Cary, NC.  The restaurant has the perfect setup to accomodate a ceremony, cocktail hour, and a reception for 120 guests!  Kathie Clark and her staff really know their stuff!  They were fantastic!   Plus the food was amaing too!  If you're ever near the Stonebridge Shopping Center in Cary, check out Chef's Palette.
The impressive cupcake tower was courtesy of Sweet Bri's.  Brianna did an amazing job not only with the biggest cupcake display ever, but the cupcakes themselves were soooo good!  My favorit was the chocolate cupcake with mocha frosting (it had little specks of ground espresso beans in it).
Photos were take by Terrence Williams, thank you for sharing with us!!

THE cupcake tower (I'm thinking of calling Guinness, this has to be some kind of record...)
In remembrance of loved ones.
no one wanted the party to end!
Luckily for these guys, Stephanie and Chuck had planned an intimate after-party at their (brand new!) home following the reception.  :)  There was lots of food, drinks, cupcakes, live music, and games to entertain the little ones.  I heard the after-party went well into the wee-late hours.  ;)

Stephanie and Chuck - thank you both for sharing your wedding with me!  I wish you and your new family un-ending joyfulness and blessings.  Salute!

Jennifer + Pete 10.11.11

Okay, I know I say this every time, but honestly, I really am sooo excited to post the pictures from Jennifer's wedding!   Jen and I started working together exactly one year ago yesterday.  Oh, how time flys!!!   We worked together each step of the way to create a rustic, country-chic theme.  Just plain 'ole b-e-a-u-tiful.
Jennifer and I were blessed to work with amazing and talented vendors.  Since our Bride-de-jour was getting married on her future in-laws property, we had to rent EVERYTHING!   I remember the first time I met her at the property - we stood there staring at this huge empty field trying to envision a massive tent that was going to host the most special day of her life.  Classic Party Rentals provided the majority of our rental needs:  our (massive) tent, lights, generators, heaters, tables, chairs, linens, napkins, chargers...  Maureen at CPR was amazing to work with every step of the way!   Thanks, girl!
My favorit cake lady, Leona Taylor of Frosted Bliss Cakes provided Jennifer's amazing cupcakes.  Since everything Leona bakes is mouth-watering, Jennifer went with four different cupcake flavors.  So guests would know "what's what" Leona made 4 different color, edible maple leaves and we proped up a cute little frame explaining the "color code".  The cupcakes were a huge hit!
Catering was provided by Thrills from the Grill - these guys had guests lining up before the food was even ready!!  Let me tell you, that grill smelled sooooo good!   Our banquet Captain, Victor was on point the whole evening.  Great job guys!
Last, but not least our AMAZING pictures are courtsey of the talented Lisha Myers, of Lisha Myers Photograph.  You must check out her blog to see more shots from Jennifer's event.
Okay, so enough chit-chat, on to the pictures!
LOVE the cowboy boots!
Jennifer & Pete's 'First Look' moment.  Sooo sweet!!!  =)

Jennifer scored a great find with these charms!
Pretty sure Jennifer's niece should win 'Cutest Flowergirl' Award!

Thank you both for allowing Premier to play such a special role in your wedding.  Many blessings for you both and your future together!   Ji Ve Li!  ('Cheers!' in Serbian)   =)

Stephanie + Justin 10.9.11

When I met Stephanie for the first time, I was so excited for her wedding day!  The thought of all her homemade goodies, the BBQ, the home-brewed beer, the dancing, and all the other details...(I really could go on and on), I just couldn't wait.
Stephanie and Justin's nuptuals were held at the beautiful Rock Quarry Farm in Chapel Hill.  The main home is over 120 years old!  The current owners have put some major TLC into updating and renovating it (any bride would enjoy indoor plumbing!), yet still maintaining the charm and nostalgia of home's history.  I cannot wait to do another wedding there (call me Camille!!).
The BBQ that Stephanie couldn't stop raving about was courtsey of Allen & Son's in Chapel Hill (sorry guys, no link, the restaurant doesn't have a website!).  Those guys pulled up with some authentic southern cookin!  Best banana pudding I've had in a loooong time.  The rest of the days goodies came straight from the bride's kitchen.  Stephanie actually sells her homemade goods online at The Bumpkin Gourmet (the pumpkin caramel sauce & jalapeno-peach jam is beyond delish!).
as guests arrived, they were welcomed by some of the wedding party and this adorable sign
while the guests waited for the ceremony, a vicious game of cornhole took place
'I Do' Ale
Stephanie found vintage soda bottles with some very cool flavors (ever had boysenberry soda?)
the beautiful bride patiently waiting
the bride used haybales draped with pieces quilted fabric for seating

the wedding party.  Those sunflowers were gorgeous!
the bride and her maids.  They each got to pick their own dress

the bride continued to incorporate the burlap and sunflowers into the reception decor
the bluegrass band.  They were awesome!  yes, that house is real.  =)
guests were treated to Stephanie's homemade red velvet, pumpkin and vanilla cupcakes (with plain and chocolate milk!)
Yum!
as the evening winded down, guests were encouraged to take some of Stephanie's pumpkin caramel sauce AND apple pie jam!
Stephanie, your wedding was absolutly beautiful!  I'm still daydreaming of your jalapeno-peach jam and the pumpkin caramel sauce....
