Laura + Adam 9.15.12

Laura and Adam hands down had the coolest wedding I have ever been a part of.  Laura was the Queen of DIY and her family/friends rallied with her and helped out wherever they could.  The day before the wedding, Laura, her mom, and grandmother were purchasing flowers from the local farmer's market.  They did an amazing job pulling together all the bouquets, boutonniers, corsages, and all the centerpieces!  I was totally blown away!
Everything took place at Elodie Farms in Rougemont, NC.  One of the great parts about Elodie Farms is their "farm to table" catering philosophy.  Everything was locally sourced or came straight from Elodie Farms.  I got to try the farm's goat cheese and it was delicious!  If you are ever at the Durham Farmer's Market, look for Dave's booth and buy some of their cheese!  In addition to the tasty treats the farm provided, Laura and Adam had Smokey Dave's serve some of the tastiest pulled pork NC-style BBQ I have had.  Dave and his team did an amazing job setting up the buffet and serving some delicious southern comfort food.
A HUGE "thank you" to Richard Barlow Photography for doing an amazing job capturing Laura & Adam's wedding day.  You are a rock star and we cannot wait to work with you again!

Totally in love with the bridesmaid dresses!

How amazing is this shot?!

This is one of my fav's  :)

Okay, this one is my fav!!!

Laura & Adam - thank you both for allowing us to be a part of your special day.  It was an honor to be there and we wish you many years of happiness together!

Samantha + Alex 8.19.12

When I met Samantha and Alex for their initial consultation I just loved watching them interact and discuss their ideas for the wedding day.  I could see that they truly love and respect each other, their families, and their deep rooted cultural traditions.  I knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding!
Samantha and Alex were married at The Carolina Inn.  If you're not familiar with the Carolina Inn or have never been there, it's worth checking out the next time you're in Chapel Hill!  Everyone at the hotel is amazing and the food was scrumptious!
The uber-talented sisters at Tre Bella Flowers provided all the florals.  Let me tell you, those roses were even prettier in person!  Eddie Banout from Blissful Entertainment provided all the tunes for not only the reception, but also the ceremony.  Eddie did an amazing job keeping everyone on the dance floor!  Maxi B's Cakes out of Greensboro, NC provided the wedding cake.
A super big "Thank You!!" to Leslie Keener of Elizabeth Scott Photography for capturing all these priceless moments from Samantha & Alex's special day.  Did I mention she was preggo with their first baby?!  Yeah, Leslie was a trooper!  Thank you for sharing with us!

Kelly + Mark 9.8.12

Mark and Kelly were married on one of those typical late summer/early fall days we get to have here in good 'ole NC.  The leaves had just started to change, the sun was shinning, with a perfect temperature for outdoor mingling.  The ceremony was held at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Fuquay-Varina.  Following the ceremony, guests made their way over to Bass Lake Park in Holly Springs.  At the park, guests couldn't help but take in the beautiful views of Bass Lake and all the lush wildflowers.
Cook Shack provided delicious BBQ and pulled pork!  We love working with these guys!  Stick Boy Bakery whipped up a super-yummy cake that all the guests were raving about!  Best part about Mark & Kelly's special day?  When that pesky rain came during their reception, no one let it ruin their fun!!  Practically everyone was out there dancing in the rain, having an amazing time!
Special 'Thank You!' to Jeremy M. Lange Photography for sharing their amazing shots of Mark & Kelly's special day.

Amy + Ben 9.2.12

Getting to work with Amy & Ben was such a special treat and I was so excited they had me come on board!  Their wedding colors were purple (my all-time favorite wedding color), bright green, and ivory.  Everything looked amazing!  Amy and her mom did an amazing job coordinating the wedding colors throughout the entire event!  They even made these homemade coconut bars as wedding favors that were delicious!
Amy and Ben were married in the family temple, Temple Beth Or.  Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed with drinks and passed appetizers at 1705 Prime
North Raleigh Florist did an amazing job with all the flowers and centerpieces!  Randy Bennet from Joe Bunn DJ Company kept folks dancing all night long!  Ashley Cakes made the prettiest (and tastiest) cake!  I LOVE the cascading pearls and the anemones!  Thanks Ashley!  A special thanks to Carolyn Scott Photography for capturing all these fantastic shots!!  I can't wait to work with y'all again!  :)
